welll I did not get your point. Do you mean you cannot comunicate to them, or do you mean while you are invisible you cannot do anything...

well while you are invisible you can reply to board posts, send private messages, play the games ... some users just choose not to be seen

I sure wouldn't want to be quicknoted by someone who's invisible, it almost makes them look like a hacker. That's what I thought the first time it said 1 invisible. However, on chat programs, or the one I was on, someone could come in to a room, and jaws would announce them, but you couldn't find their user name on the list of people in the room, yet their messages couuuuuld be read, but you couldn't kick them, or put them on ignore, because they were invisible.

yes, and sometimes, people just want to come on, just for playing games, and reading board posts, and would just rather not talk to anyone. This would just make everything faster for them to deal with...

No need for me to hide, I've got nothing and noone to hide from.

Same here Wayne but if people are really playing games where time matteres, then it is easier for them.

to be honest i think invisible members are really silly!

they might not want to talk but then firstly there an outcast becaus they won't let us talk and secondly why come to the zone if you can't see who it is that's on

I think most of the invisible members are not invisible all of the time. They are just invisible if, as we already mentioned, they want to play games or want to read board posts and can“do that without being disturbed. Also - are you always in the mood of talking? The next time they log on they might be visible again.

hmm, why not just turn quicknotes completely off?

Yeah well, that's a good point.

I've gone invisible a few times. I don't see anything wrong with it. Sometimes I don't want to be bothered but want to see QN's, and I have the option.

Isn'T this a bit mean ... listen to conversations but can not take part in them? And until you got visible, it might already be over.

...one way to eavesdrop I suppose...

Wow ! I'm giving away a secret, but, sometimes I use invisible only for the perpose of seeing if someone logs in. Smile. If they are not on, or if they don't log on, I'm gone. LOL, but now with the Watch feature, I have no need to do that anymore. Grins.

Yes. I agree with Lou!!! Why not just turn quick notes off instead of being invisible??? You can still play games, send mail, and read board posts in peace if you do so. I do it when I don't want to be bothered. Also, not to be mean or anything but isn't it morally wrong to listen to other peoples' conversations??? At least, that's what I've always been taught!!!
